The Spey Bank Studio is an art gallery and pottery in the centre of Grantown-on-Spey. We showcase art, photography and ceramics from the Cairngorms and beyond. And we provide ceramics classes for all abilities.
The recently renovated former Bank of Scotland branch in Grantown-on-Spey is now home to a carefully curated art gallery, flexible workshop space, an artist’s studio, and a pottery.
We showcase a diverse range of art, with a predominant focus on Scottish artists, particularly those from the Cairngorms National Park. This includes painters and photographers and sculptors.
We run regular classes for all abilities and on Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4, we are running two short classes teaching you how to make a ceramic quaich. This is the perfect chance to try your hand at pottery.
Everyone will make a small vessel with handles during this two-hour workshop. These will be fired and glazed by our resident tutor Angus Grant and then posted to you at a later date.
